Bay Wines
A pioneering winery in the Awatere Valley, Koura Bay Wines
is a family run business using estate grown fruit from their
50 hectare vineyards. Focus is primarily on export to the
on premise and independent specialist bottle store market,
with sauvignon blanc and pinot noir varieties being the main
wines, and pinot gris, chardonnay and riesling produced in
smaller quantities.
Attention to detail in the vineyard, hand harvesting, and
low yields contribute to wines with true varietal intensity,
and the character and elegance typical of the Awatere.
