Catalina Sounds

Catalina Sounds produced its first vintage of Sauvignon Blanc in 2005.

The name Catalina Sounds evolved from the majestic Catalina Flying Boats who played a vital role across the South Pacific during and after World War II.

Catalina Sounds pays homage to this flying boat and the beauty of the Marlborough Sounds where it served and made its home.

It is the philosophy of our winemaker, Nina Stocker, to produce wines that have finesse, beautiful fruit intensity, are well balanced and elegant.  The fruit is the focus; sourcing the best possible fruit from Marlborough is fundamental for all the varietals.
